Merry Christmas And A Successful 2017!

So this is my last blog post before christmas and I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry one! Whatever you’re doing, I hope you have lots of fun. As I stated in my post last week I am also going to do a final end of year review on the progress IncomeObjective has made. stock-photo-glittering-new-year-red-and-blue-type-over-isolated-on-white-d-illustration-489022348

IncomeObjective only started in September of 2015 so this time last year I was just getting off the ground, doing a few different bits here and there. In January I wrote a blog post about shiney object syndrome, which is something a lot of people suffer from, myself included. I made a decision then to really focus and stick to one plan, developing and focusing on it consistently. Now that we’re in December I can quite happily say I feel I have done that!

The focus was of course this blog and the IncomeObjective brand. My plan was (and still is), to present IncomeObjective as live Internet marketing case study.

I got myself a business mentor at the beginning of the year and then worked towards establishing my blog, creating my first product, creating my first sales funnel, growing my email list and making some sales.

I have spent time each week, posting to my blog and working towards these goals. It hasn’t been quick and it hasn’t always been easy, but it has been achievable! I know this because I have made good progress in all these areas.  I droped a day at work back in August, and  dedicate that day, every week, to working on my business and it made a huge difference.

So I am very happy with what I achieved and what I have learnt this year. 2017 for me is going to be all about building on this and scaling my business up. I really feel like this year will have been the most difficult because I didn’t know very much about internet marketing and how it works. But now I do and I have put what I have learnt into practice and seen it work with my own eyes, so now I just need to keep on doing it, and tweaking it to make it more and more effective.

By the end of 2017 I aiming to have achieved the following goals;

  • An email list of at least 1000 subscribers
  • A membership area
  • 2 sales funnels operating
  • Branching out and starting again in a new niche

I will of course be posting updates and how everything is going as the year goes along. You can always catch up with my progress via the ‘Case Study Progress’ tab at the top of my blog. Feel free to get in touch and comment.

If you haven’t started to create your online business yet, or you don’t know where to start, then check out this free video training course which will explain how to get started (in any niche) and top tips on what to do and more importantly, what not to do!

Have a great christmas and I look forward to sharing success with you in 2017

Bye for now 🙂

  1. What a great year you have had, Vic. It is really encouraging to hear at first-hand how doing the right things with dedication and persistance really DO make a successful enterprise.
Looking forward to reading about next year’s progress now.

  2. Christmas gives us the opportunity to pause and reflect on the important things around us – a time when we can look back on the year that has passed and prepare for the year ahead. David Cameron

  3. Hi Vicky
Do not get me started on Shiny Objects I still find myself buying the odd product that I know deep down will just collect dust sitting in my hard drive 🙁
I wish you and your family all the seasons greetings 🙂
