What a bold claim I come to you today with! It’s week 3 of the Customer Acquisition Bootcamp and now that we know who our ideal customers are, and what we’re going to sell them, we’re covering HOW to sell.
We’re a week behind due to sickness however that’s no problem as last week’s task; decided WHAT to sell needs plenty of planning and preparation. So I used the extra week to do just this. I am now the proud owner of a mind map, with an (almost) completed blueprint of my soon to be brand new offer.
But there’s no point in this or any product, if you can’t sell it. So, on last night’s webinar we were taught an 8 step process that enables you to sell any product. So this week’s task is to use this 8 step process and create either a sales page or a video or something that will reflect the process to be used in our marketing efforts to promote our product once it’s ready to go.
The wonderful thing about having an online business that I keep getting pleasantly reminded of is
that it’s really not that hard! We tend to get ourselves into all sorts of stressful pickles trying to achieve great things, when it’s just not necessary! When you break things down to their simplest form they are just that; simple!
And this 8 step process is no different. What we need to do is highlight the attributes of our product, and whilst thinking about our ideal customer, comment on the following 8 points;
By doing this we can provide out potential customers everything they need to know about why our product is a great opportunity.
So my plan is to complete this task which I am confident will be fairly easy. Then I will focus on
putting together my actual product. This is the part that is going to be the most time consuming, going from past experience. However I did take great comfort from Dean starting last night’s webinar by advising to get caught in the trap of spending ridiculous amounts of time on product creation! It would seem I am not the only one who has gotten lost down this path!
Once things are ready to go I will of course be sharing my script, so keep your eyes peeled for that to see if you can identify and relate what I’m saying about my offer to the 8 points mentioned above.
I’m going to be busy busy busy in the last few weeks of this year, which is great because it means I will start the new year on the right foot!
